Christmas Day
Christmas as always is CRAZY! Bur, what can you expect from a family of SEVEN ? We opened our jammies on Christmas Eve, and the kids had grandma's day, and made Rice Krispy houses... Grandpa pulled them on the sled behind the quads that is always a big hit after a big waffle breakfast. David had to work a half day and I had to work a full, so it worked out well for us, the kids did not have to sit aound bored on Christmas Eve they got to have FUN :) Then something MAGICAL happened SANTA came! Carter got a "big boy" bike which he has been trying out in the kitchen since we have quite a bit of snow outside... and Dallin got an electric scooter I guess you call it? He did try it outside, one of the neighbors had cleared the sidewalks but there will still be pathches of ice, so he had a few slips and falls, he is looking forward to our trip to CA for New Years for dry streets to try it out. Bailey got a REAL digital camera and the little girls got HSM & Hannah Montana music MP3 players and cameras with music to go with them and purses to hold them. Everyone seemed happy with their gifts and the best part was when we were driving over to David's parents, the kids were talking about how great Christmas was and how much they loved their presents, unprovoked! I was really touched, and we talked about the many people even in our own neighborhood and children who may go to their school are not as blessed as we are and may not get the kind of presents as they have gotten. It was awesome! They are starting to "get it", it made the past week of hard work worth it... MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
